Narzo 30 Pro: Review

Recently Realme launched there new phones in the Narzo series that are Narzo 30A & Narzo 30 Pro. Today we'll do a review on the Narzo 30 Pro-

BOX CONTENTS

First up is the case of the phone, the device itself, 30Watt Super Dart Charger with type-C cable, SIM ejector pin and finally some papers & warranty.

DESIGN & BUILT

This time there’s a change in the design. Now it’s a matte polycarbonate back with dual effect which looks pretty appealing. Also, it has curved edges. The phone weighs at around 200 grams with 9.2mm of thickness. Physical overview- On the top is nothing but only a secondary mic, On the left are the volume rockers with unfortunately a hybrid slot only, this wasn’t expected. However on the right is the power button which also works as a fingerprint sensor. Towards the bottom are the 3.5mm headphone jack, a mic, type-C port and speaker. There is a Triple camera setup for the rear and for the front is the punch hole notch.

RAM & STORAGE

RAM

LPDDR4X

STORAGE

UFS 2.1

 SOFTWARE

The phone runs a custom OS that is Realme UI 1.0 with Android 10, they should have given Android  11, but the good is that they don't have any banned apps or system ads. So, the software experience turn out to be very good.

CONNECTIVITY

v  Bluetooth v5.1

v  Dual band Wi-fi

v  GPS Glonass

v  Dual 4G VOLTE

v  And most importantly 5G (With many 5G bands)

Additional features- Widewine L1, Camera 2 api and supports all the necessary sensors.

AUDIO

Audio quality is pretty decent. Loudness & Music quality are on point. Even the 3.5mm headphone jack works well as tested by some popular tech reviewers.

SECURITY & BIOMETRICS

Has a side mounted fingerprint sensor and a Face Unlock, both are quiet fast.

DISPLAY

One of the highlighting feature of this phone is the display. The display is 6.5inch FHD+ single punch hole 120Hz display with 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a peak brightness of upto 600nits. Screen to body ratio 90.5% ratio. The display is very bright, viewing angles are good enough. Multimedia experience will be decent. Overall display used is fantastic at this price point.

PERFORMANCE

The processor used is none other than the Mediatek Dimensity 800U. It’s India’s second phone to have this processor.  We’ve seen this chipset in the Realme X7 and we all know how good this chipset is.

On brief :

CLOCK SPEED

2.4GHz

NANOMETER

7nm

CPU

Arm Cortex A-76

GPU

Mali G57 MC3

Processor is very good for day-to-day usage and can also do heavy gaming with high graphics easily. One advantage for this processor is it supports 5G.

BATTERY

It has 5000mah battery with 30W Dart charging, which charges the phone from 0-100 in under 70 minutes and can charge 50% in just 25 minutes. The battery is improved from its predecessor and with its 7nm processor, the battery easily lasts longer. Down point is that the Narzo 20 pro had a 65W charger, but to be honest it doesn’t make much of a difference because on paper 65 Watt is double the 30 Watt charger but in reality there is not much of a difference. Also the Narzo 20 Pro had slightly low  battery i.e. 4500mah, because of the 65 Watt charging the battery is divided into two that is 2250mah each.

Tata ALTROZ!! Best hatchback under 10L

The Altroz is Tata’s latest, most modern, and the best looking car yet. It will go up against the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Now when launched sometime next month  if it is priced significantly less then both the Baleno and the i20  then it will make really sweet deal. And we say that because to begin with the Altroz is based on a new,  modular platform called Alpha. It is lighter than what Tata Motors has been producing so far. The platform is also better built in terms of safety and overall stiffness. Needless to say it meets all future safety norms in India. But you can’t really see the platform or its underpinnings. What you can see is this beautifully designed car and the uniqueness of the Altroz’s design comes from its  front end which is more cliff like instead of sweeping thing that we are used to. Plus the ...
