Samsung Galaxy A52 & A72

Samsung recently launched their new phones in the A series that are the A52 & A72. Now you might be wondering why am I reviewing both the phone at the same time, It's because both the phones are very identical to each other. But... Not with the price :(

DESIGN & BUILT

The phone is very much similar to the previously launched Galaxy A32. But one advantage here is that it comes with different colors that makes the phone quiet beautiful.

Physical overview- On the top is the secondary mic hole with surprisingly a hybrid slot, Towards the right are the power button and the volume rockers, left is plane blank and on the bottom are the ports for the speaker grill, type-C port and main mic

As this is a Samsung phone, it runs a custom OS which is One UI and has the latest Android version i.e. Android 11. Also it has Knox security which protects the phone from unwanted sources and malware.

Audio quality will be decent. (As tested by some popular reviewers)

SECURITY & BIOMETRICS

Both the phones has an In-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. In-display fingerprint scanner is not the fastest but the Face unlock is pretty fast.

DISPLAY

Both the phones have the same display technology that is FHD+ 90Hz sAMOLED infinity O panel with 20:9 aspect ratio. Change comes when we talk about the display size, A52 has 6.5 inch panel whereas 6.7 inch on the A72.

PERFORMANCE

The processor is the tried and tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g. You can do anything you want to do, this processor can handle each and everything. Also you can play games on high graphics too.

Galaxy A72 comes with 5000mah battery unlike the other Samsung phones having 6000mah but yeah it is decent enough. And yes support for the 25Watt charge (charger included in the box).

Galaxy A52 comes with 4500mah battery with support for 25Watt charge but only 15Watt charger in the box.

Battery backup will surely be good on both the phones.

Cameras are very identical or almost the same on both the phones. But there will surely be no doubt when it comes to real world camera performance on Samsung Phones.

On-paper the camera specs are excellent for the A72 but decent specs for the A52.

PRICE & OPINION

So the A52 starts from 26,499 for the Rs 6/128gb and 27,999 for the Rs 8/128gb .

And A72 starts from Rs 34,999 for the 8/128gb and Rs 37,999 for the 8/256gb .

In my opinion both the phones are priced very expensive, just because of the Samsung brand they are charging a premium. You get brilliant phones like Mi 10T or the newly launched OnePlus 9R 5G which is 2k higher but the overall experience will be great.
