 Hi Guys welcome back!!! Toyota Fortuner facelift has arrived at your nearest showrooms on sale in Jan. 2021; gets a host of exterior and interior updates The facelifted Fortuner has been all over the internet today as it comes with notable changes inside and out and it will arrive at local showrooms later this year or in early 2021. Unveiled in Thailand, where a major portion of its production is concentrated for the Asian markets under the IMV project, the 2021Toyota Fortuner can be seen in two different versions. One is the standard model and the other is the Fortuner Legender that has plenty of design differences. On the outside, the 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender has a more striking visual presence courtesy of a sportier front fascia with sleeker design elements such as the grille, projector headlamps and L-shaped integrated LED Daytime Running Lights. The standard version of the Fortuner facelift looks like an evolutionary update of the outgoing model with a prominent headlamp cluster but the Legender begs to differ. Other design highlights include busier front bumper with sharper cuts and black bezels for the redesigned fog lamp housing, supported by additional lighting and a gaping lower radiator black grille. The underbody protecting skid plates, bigger20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in two-tone finish, black side steps, muscular black cladding, chrome window line, blackened wing mirrors, A-, B- and C-pillars with roof rails giving a two-tone stance are notable features in the 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender. You could see plenty of chrome touches and unparted grille with wave pattern inserts on the standard Fortuner. The rear of the Fortuner Legender boasts are styled bumper with vertical L-shaped blades on the edges. It is sold with White Pearl CS with black roof, Emotional Red with black roof and Attitude Black Mica colours forming a distinguishable dual-tone look when compared to the standard model. As for the features, it does get some exclusivity. A nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, JBL surround sound with nine speakers, ambient lighting and rear USB ports limited to the Fortuner Legender. The Safety Sense suite enables Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Pre-Collision System and much more. Mechanically, it gets exclusive shock absorbers for better handling dynamics. The Legender can be bought with a 2.4-litrediesel or the uprated 2.8-litre diesel engine with 4WD system. In Thailand, the 2021 Toyota Fortuner has been made available at a starting price of 1,319,000 Baht (which is around Rs 31.60 lakh). The Fortuner Legender, on the other hand, costs 1,577,000 Baht (approx. Rs 37.68 lakh). The latter one has sportier styling, more features and a more powerful engine. MORE POWERFUL ENGINE Powerful 2.8L turbo diesel engine that’s tuned for generating power worth 201bhp at3400rpm and 500Nm of torque at 1400rpm – 2600rpm. This makes it around 25bhp more powerful and50Nm torque than its old version. EXTRA FEATURES Compared to the updated standard model, the 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender has more featuresto offer. The latter is equipped with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (instead of an 8.0-inch unit), a 360 degree camera, wireless charging, JBL audio system, dual-tone seats, ambient illumination, rear UBS port and hands-free powered tailgate. Safety features such as lane departure alert, automatic pre-collision braking and radar based cruise control are exclusively offered on the sportier variant Features such as 4.2-inch MID in the ‘Optitron’ instrument console, Toyota T Connect connectivity suite, paddle shifters, climate control, one-touchfolding middle-row seats, eight-way powered seats, electrochromic IRVM, traction control, cruise control, seven airbags, hill-start assist, trailer sway control, electric stability control and all-wheel discs are common in both models. SPORTIER LOOKS Design and styling of the new Toyota Fortuner Legender is relatively shaper than the regular model. It comes fitted with 20-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, gloss black finish and sequential LED turn signals. The standard version features a larger front grille with mesh pattern, new headlamps and fog lamp assembly, updated bumper with new silver skid plate and 18-inch alloy wheels. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner has been offered in 3 monotone shades – Dark Grey Metallic, Dark Blue Mica and Silver Metallic. Its new sportier variant comes in three colours (including two dual-tone) – Emotional Red with Black roof, White Pearl CS with Blackroof and Attitude Black Mica.

 Rs 29.98lacs for the 4x2 and varies upto Rs 37.58Lacs for the legender (ex showroom prices, Delhi)

                                       The Altroz is Tata’s latest, most modern, and the best looking car yet. It will go up against the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Now when launched sometime next month  if it is priced significantly less then both the Baleno and the i20  then it will make really sweet deal. And we say that because to begin with the Altroz is based on a new,  modular platform called Alpha. It is lighter than what Tata Motors has been producing so far.
