POCO M3.... OP Performer???

POCO M3 has launched in India. This is the device that was trending. Everyone was talking about this device. Why? Well, because of its high price to performance ratio and a fancy design! POCO M3 went official in Europe earlier than it was released in other countries including Pakistan. And now it’s time for India to get POCO M3. But for the Indian market, POCO M3 has launched with 6GB RAM.

In the global market, we saw POCO M3 with two variants. They included 4GB/64GB or 4/128GB. It was a disappointment that it did not have a 6GB variant. But later the smartphone was launched in Indonesia and there was a 6GB variant as-well. However, things are different for India. There is no 4GB variant of POCO M3 in India as stated by POCO Official on Twitter. More is never enough. Until it comes to our RAM.

There are  two variants for Poco M3 India which are the 6/64GB and 6/128GB.

Now if we talk about the specifications:

1. SOFTWARE

The phone comes with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 same as the Redmi 9 power but as it is a Poco phone it runs on the Poco launcher.

2. RAM & Storage

RAM - LPDDR4x

Storage - UFS 2.1 for the 64gb variant

UFS 2.2 for the 128gb variant

Thus, the phone will run pretty smooth!!!

The phone also supports all the sensors which is a very good thing to have in a phone at this price range.

3. CONNECTIVITY

Phone supports the latest bluetooth version 5.0,

Wifi 2.5/5 GHZ

Dual 4g VOLTE with GPS

4. SECURITY & BIOMETRICS

Side mounted fingerprint.

- Face Unlock

5. AUDIO

Comes with the same speaker as the Redmi 9 Power which is a dual speaker, and the sound quality would be pretty decent  same as the Redmi 9 Power. So, the audio experience which you will get from the phone will be excellent.

6. DISPLAY

Phone features a 6.53 inch FHD+  IPS display with a waterdrop notch at the top

60 Hz refresh rate and the one downside of both Xiaomi and Poco phones is they do not offer high refresh rate display in their budget phones

Also has a protection of Gorilla glass 3

7. PERFORMANCE

Phone has the same Snapdragon 662 as we've seen in the Redmi 9 Power, not something new.

Now talking about the processor:

- It's a 2.0Ghz Octa core processor

- Based on 11nm

- Kryo 260 and

- Adreno 610 Gpu

You can play games at medium to high frame rates

POCO M3's Snapdragon 662 is great for those who love Qualcomm but in reality, it is a mediocre chipset. It does not provide the gaming experience like the G-series lineup of MediaTek.

8. BATTERY

- 6000mah

- Supports 18w quick charge (type-C)

- Fast charger In the box.

9. CAMERA

Features a  triple camera 48mp main rear camera, 2mp depth and 2mp Macro

 - F/1.9 aperture

- AI mode

- Portrait & Beauty

- Night mode

- On the selfie it features a 8mp shooter

- Video- Both the rear and the front camera has EIS with FHD recording.

10. PRICE & VERDICT

The price for the 6/64gb variant is Rs 10,999, and

the price for the 6/128gb variant is Rs 11,999.

There is also Rs 1000 off if you buy it from ICICI bank card.(for the first sale)

According to me price to performance ratio is excellent and it can also give a tough competition with the popular phones like Narzo 20 and the Micromax In Note 1 and many more.....

It will surely be the game changer at this price point.

Especially now since the Indian variant is having 6GB RAM, it will be so much better. MIUI is a RAM-eater. It is really heavy and unusable on low RAM. Hence, 6GB RAM is the perfect topping on POCO M3.

Tata ALTROZ!! Best hatchback under 10L

The Altroz is Tata’s latest, most modern, and the best looking car yet. It will go up against the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Now when launched sometime next month  if it is priced significantly less then both the Baleno and the i20  then it will make really sweet deal. And we say that because to begin with the Altroz is based on a new,  modular platform called Alpha. It is lighter than what Tata Motors has been producing so far. The platform is also better built in terms of safety and overall stiffness. Needless to say it meets all future safety norms in India. But you can’t really see the platform or its underpinnings. What you can see is this beautifully designed car and the uniqueness of the Altroz’s design comes from its  front end which is more cliff like instead of sweeping thing that we are used to. Plus the ...
