Nokia 5.4: Review

Nokia launched their new phone in India which is the 5.4 on the 10th February 2021. We know Nokia phones are a bit expensive keeping in mind the specs of their phones. But, the good thing in their phones is the software.

So, today we'll give a brief review on this Nokia 5.4 :

1. BOX CONTENTS

There is a rectangular box in which the phones comes in. Firstly, there is the phone itself, a transparent case, some paper work, a type-C cable, a 10watt slow charger and a sim ejector pin.

2. DESIGN & BUILT

On the front, there is a punch hole display with a very small chin at the bottom. On the back, Phone is a glossy polycarbonate back with textured finish. A quad rear camera and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has curved edges with gives a premium touch.

3. RAM & STORAGE

RAM- LPDDR4

STORAGE- EEMC5.1

The RAM & Storage is pretty average if we consider it's price point. The Ram is kind of decent but the storage should be a better one.

4. CONNECTIVITY

Phone comes with bluetooth V 2.4

Wi-fi 2.4Ghz

Dual 4G VOLTE

GPS GLONASS

5. SENSORS

Important sensors are all available on this phone.

6. DISPLAY

The phone comes with a 6.39 inch HD+ IPS display with single punch hole and has brightness upto 400nits. Quality of this panel is decent but it should had a FHD+ display. But, the good thing is that it doesn't feel cheap at all.

7. SOFTWARE

The OS is the key point in this phone as there are neither banned apps and nor any kind of bloatware. It's a clean stock android experience and runs Android 10. Android 11 will surely come very soon and Nokia promised to provide updates for upto 2 years. That's actually great!

8. SECURITY

Phone has a face unlock and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner but the down point of it is, it's very small and also the fingerprint reader is also flat same as the body. So, it is difficult to identify the fingerprint reader.

9. PERFORMANCE

Phone powers an Octa-core 11nm Snapdragon 662 which is clocked at 2.0Ghz. Processor is good but not at this price point.

10. BATTERY

The phone has a 4000mah battery with just a 10watt charge. The battery is decent and will last long easily because of the software and the processor but the charger should be faster like 18watt or at least 15watt they should have given it.

11. CAMERA

On the rear it's 48mp+5mp+2mp+2mp

48mp is the primary camera with 1080p video recording (EIS) and modes like night mode, slow motion, cinema mode and etc.

5mp is the wide angle camera.

2+2mp is for portrait and for the macro.

For the front it's a 16mp shooter with front flash.

12. PRICE & OPINION

The variants for the phone are 4/64gb and 6/64gb, The price for the 4/64gb is Rs 13,999 and the 6/64gb variant is Rs 15,499.

The pricing is a bit on an expensive side. They should have priced it at around 12k, then only the phone would be recommended. At this price the Realme Narzo 20pro or the Poco M2 pro give much more value than the Nokia 5.4. The only good thing is that it's stock android and if someone wants a clean and smooth experience then only the phone is recommended.

So, that was my opinion for the 5.4, do let me know that are you happy with the phone or not in the comments down below. Till then, BYE!

Tata ALTROZ!! Best hatchback under 10L

The Altroz is Tata’s latest, most modern, and the best looking car yet. It will go up against the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Now when launched sometime next month  if it is priced significantly less then both the Baleno and the i20  then it will make really sweet deal. And we say that because to begin with the Altroz is based on a new,  modular platform called Alpha. It is lighter than what Tata Motors has been producing so far. The platform is also better built in terms of safety and overall stiffness. Needless to say it meets all future safety norms in India. But you can’t really see the platform or its underpinnings. What you can see is this beautifully designed car and the uniqueness of the Altroz’s design comes from its  front end which is more cliff like instead of sweeping thing that we are used to. Plus the ...
