Narzo 30A- a budget oriented smartphone which was launched with the Narzo 30 Pro which I had reviewed it earlier- https://msjtalks.blogspot.com/2021/02/narzo-30-pro-review.html
So let's have a look at this as it competes the newly launched Motorola E7 power, the Poco M3 and the Redmi 9 power, so let's see how does it match up with it's competition. So let's begin:
BOX
CONTENTS
There’s a
big Narzo logo on the box. Sliding the box, first up is the case of the phone,
the device itself, 10Watt normal charger with type-C cable, SIM ejector pin and
some papers & warranty.
DESIGN
& BUILT
This time
there’s a change in the design. Yes it’s polycarbonate back but it has stripe
design with dual shade and a small narzo logo. Also, it has curved edges. The
phone weighs at around 212 grams with 9.9mm of thickness. Physical overview- On
the top is nothing, On the left is the dedicated micro SD card slot,. However
on the right are the volume rockers with a normal power button. Towards the
bottom are the ports for the 3.5mm headphone jack, a mic, type-C port and
speaker. There is a Dual camera setup for the rear with a rear fingerprint
scanner and for the front is the punch hole notch.

SOFTWARE
The phone
runs a custom OS that is Realme UI 1.0 with Android 10, they should have given
Android 11, but the good is that they don't have any banned apps or
system ads. So, the software experience turn out to be very good. And we should
not expect Android 11 now at this price segment.
CONNECTIVITY
v Bluetooth v5.0
v Dual band Wi-fi
v GPS Glonass
v Dual 4G VOLTE
Additional
features- Widewine L1, Camera 2 api and supports all the necessary sensors.
AUDIO
Audio
quality is pretty decent. Loudness & Music quality are on point. Even the
3.5mm headphone jack works decent as tested by some popular tech reviewers.
SECURITY
& BIOMETRICS
Has a
rear fingerprint sensor and a Face Unlock, both are work pretty fast.
DISPLAY
The
display is 6.5inch HD+ water drop notch 60Hz display. Screen to body ratio
88.7% ratio. The display is bright enough, viewing angles are decent enough.
Multimedia experience will be satisfactory. Overall display used is acceptable
at this price point.
PERFORMANCE
The
processor used is the Mediatek Helio G85. We all know how good this chipset is
at 10-12k price range.
On brief

Processor
is very good for day-to-day usage and can also do heavy gaming with medium to high
graphics easily.
BATTERY
It has 6000mah
massive battery with only 10W charger in the box (no support for fast charging),
which charges the phone from 0-100 in 120-140 minutes. Yes, charging the phone
takes a lot of time but it gives good battery backup. The battery is improved
from its predecessor by 1000mah, so the battery easily lasts longer.

sharp enough but yes dynamic range is not that good, it’s acceptable at this

best but one of the best in it’s segment.

& OPINION

All
in all the phone is a very competitive, simply because of it’s price to
features. You surely don’t get a Helio G85 at the price tag of Rs 10k or below.
So if you are more into gaming and want an affordable phone, do check this out.
